Ram Baran Ray B.Ed. College Shyampur Bairo, Hajipur, Vaishali is a unit of R.B.R. Education Trust.
Ram Baran Ray is the name of my father who is now not amongst us. In my student hood, he always inspired me to spread education in rural areas. This college was my father’s dream. But Due to unavoidable reasons, he could not fulfill it. But after his death my wife Mrs. Subhadra devi always inspired me to fulfill his dreams. Even I began to feel the need of such an institution in our village. So finally on 13 May 2011 I laid the foundation stone of this college building. After fulfilling all the norms of N.C.T.E., Bhubaneshwar, we got the recognition for B.Ed. course for the session 2012-13 and have got affiliation from, B.R.A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur.

The college is managed by a highly dedicated and socially aware R.B.R. Educational Trust, Hajipur, Vaishali. With the spirit of RBR’s mission of social, educational upliftment in background the trust managing the institute strives for quality education, social useful research projects in science humanities in addition to helping weaker sections of society.

The institute has elegant building which includes spacious and well equipped labs, smart class rooms, computer labs, library, fully furnished language lab, conference and seminar rooms and administrative areas. We have a team of highly qualified, experienced, dedicated and distinguished teachers. It has a serene atmosphere suited for academic pursuits.
